Hrabennikava's practice focused on personal state and interpersonal relations under the influence of political and social context. The topics Hrabennikava touches are directly related to their identities and experiences, but are analyzed through optics of decolonial and queer studies. As an artist she works with topics and narratives they went through in the 'real' life whether she transfers emotions and experience to their work almost documentarily, or gets figuratively influenced by the events.

Queering, body, human rights, representation of femininity and movement towards non-binary gender narratives, mental health -- are the themes that are reflected in their works. Hrabennikava's artistic and activist practices intersec, outside their personal projects Viktoryia cooperates with NGOs and grassroots activist initiatives focused on gender studies and human rights.
